i have no pics from today, but nathan (the bro-in-law) and i went kayaking this morning. it was awesome. take the pics from yesterday, imagine similar scenery but viewed from the water, throw in some whales blowing a ways off and about eleventy billion puffins and you have our morning.

- i have the ability to kill virtually any house plant. i've killed 3 cacti in my life and numerous african violets not to mention several plants of unknown origin. i am currently working on killing a collection of plants that i received two summers ago as a house warming gift from my parents. so far, several have died, but several have new growth. i'm working hard to remedy this.
